A summer program for children, teens and young adults with Asperger Syndrome or High-Functioning Autism
The Connections Camp is a daily summer therapeutic experience designed to meet the individual and social needs of children and adolescents with Asperger Syndrome or High-Functioning Autism. Intervention focuses on the development of social skills within peer groups. Participants have fun as they learn to cope with challenges, manage emotions, and make good decisions.

The Connections Camp is staffed by a highly qualified and motivated team of experienced professionals. All staff members learn state of the art treatment strategies to enhance the development of social skills in children, regarding both Asperger Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism. Funding arrangements may be made through private payment or pre-approved sources. Most program participants are funded through Medical Assistance. The Connections Camp is a M.A. approved Summer Therapeutic Activities Program, which can be included as part of existing wrap-around services or provided as a summer program service. TransportationCampers eligible for medical assistance may receive transportation free of charge through MATP in Erie; otherwise, families are responsible for making transportation arrangements to and from the program. While at Camp, transportation to all program activities is provided by Connections staff.
