The Barber National Institute and the Erie Playhouse are again collaborating on a project to provide students in the Elizabeth Lee Black School opportunities to participate in the performing arts. The program will conclude with a performance open to the community on Wednesday, March 28 at 10 a.m. in the Barber National Institute gym. |

Two decades ago, Dr. Robert Guelcher ran a clinic at the Barber National Institute to diagnose and treat children and adults with hearing losses. Today, Dr. Guelcher and his wife, Betsy, are here with another goal. They want to ensure that individuals with disabilities - and the entire community - are able to share in their passionate love of the arts. |
