Multiple Disabilities ProgramChildren's Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program Photo

Students in the program for children with multiple disabilities participate in a curriculum that emphasizes the development of each student's effective communication, self-help, cognitive, mobility and socialization skills which will enable them to become as independent as possible within the school setting.

 

Therapists and teachers utilize a wide variety of instructional techniques and equipment to assist each student in the achieving higher levels of independence and mastery of new knowledge and skills.

Multiple Disabilities Program PhotoThe purpose of these activities is to provide a program based on special education standards which best meets the needs of the students enrolled in our school. The course load is designed to assist each student in developing to their maximum capability. The objective of the program is to help the each student to successfully perform activities designed by the IEP team to prepare for transition to adult life.
