IAP Testimonials

"I know my son's program is reviewed regularly and changed as needed. I can't suggest any improvement because we are still overwhelmed by the difference between public schools and the Barber National Institute."

"My son has improved so much since he came to this school. Thank you!"

WASNT SURE WHERE ONE STOPPED AND NEXT BEGAN???

"You are truly a family who supports each other no matter what the job that needs to be done and you do it so effortlessly. The longevity of this staff provides some of the best evidence of your pride in your school and affection for one another and the students. You are one for all and all for one. The various members of this school's community clearly rely on and trust in each other as they go about the business of making educational decisions and providing services and instructions to their clients and students. Regardless of where one falls in the hierarchy, the lines of demarcation between individual roles and responsibilities will blur when the staff at Elizabeth Lee Black get to the business at hand - serving the students and clients and their families.

The school is dynamic, continuously seeking growth and improvement in educational programming and remains current of best practices.

The Validation Team was uniformly impressed with the competence of the staff, their instructional and management skills, and their unfailingly kind treatment to all students and clients of the School and Institute.

The Validation Team was entirely impressed with the depth of student services provided by the Elizabeth Lee Black School and we congratulate you on your diligent attention to your students' needs.

Administration, staff and families support a variety of activities and special events for the students. These activities are developed according to the age and grade level of the students and include activities on site and in the community. Students are always fully engaged, with the student to staff ratio allowing for the fullest student participation in many activities and special events, on and off-campus.

The Validation Team was uniformly impressed with the staff, educational programs, and school facilities. We continually noted the school's team spirit, culture of planning, and data-based decision-making. Equally impressive was the manner in which all students were treated by all staff, who clearly shared a keen sense of responsibility for each child's welfare and progress. We trust in your relationships with each other and saw that they form a basis for the good work the school does. Again we note that you are a family in the best sense of the word."
